Inside OpenAI Complimentary Daily Tokens
Organizations that opt in to share API inputs and outputs with OpenAI may qualify for complimentary daily tokens on that traffic: up to 1 million tokens a day shared across OpenAI's larger listed models and up to 10 million across its smaller ones (250,000 and 2.5 million for usage tiers 1 and 2). Eligibility is shown on the organization's data sharing page. Fine-tuned models, fine-tuning, evals and tool use are not included, the account needs a positive balance, and usage above the daily limit is billed at normal rates. Shared data informs OpenAI's future evaluation and training of models.
