How much free credit does Vultr give new customers?
Vultr's promotions page lists four offers for new customers: free credit of $200 or $250 or $300 depending on the sign-up page, and a match of your first deposit dollar for dollar “up to $100”. Each free-credit amount has its own sign-up page, which says for example “Try Vultr for free with $300 free credit!”
Vultr adds that “Promotional credit applies to select products only and cannot be combined with any other offers.” Neither the promotions page nor the sign-up pages say how long the free credit lasts.

Is there a Vultr promo code?
Yes, and Vultr prints them itself. Its promotions page lists FLYTWOHUNDRED ($200), 250VULTRFLY ($250), FLY300VULTR ($300) and VULTRMATCH (the deposit match) for new customers, and says “From time-to-time, we offer coupons and gift codes for our servers.”
To redeem a code, Vultr's billing FAQ says “You can redeem a valid promo code under the Vultr Console Gift Code section.” A credit card or PayPal must be linked, and the FAQ allows “one promo per user”.
Vultr's referral program is a different offer: “Refer new customers and earn up to $100!” pays the person who refers once the friend has been “active for 30+ days”. That page states no credit for the friend.

Who qualifies for Vultr's new customer credit?
New customers only. Every offer on the promotions page ends “New customers only.” and the match page says “Existing customers are not eligible.” It also says “Duplicate accounts are not eligible for promotions.”
Vultr's billing FAQ says a credit card or PayPal “must be linked to register for services and be eligible for promotions”.

How does Vultr's deposit match work?
You open a new account and choose a deposit from $10 to $100. Vultr adds bonus credit equal to it, and the page's example shows “You have received $100 bonus credits” after a $100 purchase, and calls the offer “available for a limited time”.
The bonus is spent alongside your own money: “Credit is applied on a 50/50 basis.” Vultr's example is a $10 hourly charge that takes $5 from the promotional credit and $5 from real funds.

Do Vultr promo credits expire?
Yes. Vultr's billing FAQ says “Credits from promo codes expire.” The match credit “will expire 12 months after issuance”. The free-credit pages state no length, so Vultr's text gives no figure for them.
Credit is also limited by what it can buy: Vultr says it “applies to select products only”.

How is this different from the Vultr startup program?
The new customer credit is open to any new customer. The Vultr Digital Start-up Program offers “Up to $100K in cloud credits and 35% long-term discounts” but asks for “recent Series A, B, C, D, or E financing”, your “last 6 months of cloud compute invoices” and agreement to be “publicly referenceable”.
The codes above list no financing requirement.
