MaxMind offers free geolocation and ASN data as downloadable databases in MMDB or CSV format, and as web services. The web service is limited to 1000 lookups per day per service, and the databases to 30 downloads per day. The license covers your own internal business purposes, with attribution to MaxMind. The free GeoLite City data is less accurate than paid GeoIP City, and it is not recommended for commercial use cases. The paid GeoIP Country plan is billed $418 a year.
